丹容亚路水上屋今凌晨发生火灾，烧掉23个单位住户痛失家园。
亚庇市长经与多个政府部门和机构，包括路阳社区发展单位（UPPM）商议后，决定把路阳民众会堂开辟为临时收容所来安顿不幸的灾民。
据路阳社区发展领袖余田雄了解，这批灾民皆是本地沙巴汉。
因此，他通知路阳所有居民，今次的安排是经过多个相关单位商议议决的方案，冀街坊别感到担忧。
届时会堂周围将有官员、警察和志愿警卫队驻守，维持治安及保安。亚庇市政厅亦将确保环境生。
“我要强调，这绝对不像2019年10月13日所发生的事件般，大批无证外来移民蜂涌聚集路阳民众会堂，连代议员、部长、市政厅和警察都毫不知情。2019年那起事件，已引起路阳居民恐慌。”
