SANDAKAN: Jetama Water Sdn Bhd chairperson and secretary to Tanjong Papat Assemblyman Liau Fui Fui, will personally set up festive dumpling distribution counters in conjunction with the upcoming traditional Chinese Dragon Boat Festival today.
The dumpling giveaway will be conducted in a mobile format, covering multiple locations in the district, allowing residents to conveniently collect the festive treats and experience the spirit of the occasion along with the community’s care.
Dumpling distribution schedule and locations – Jalan Cecily Bus Stop – 7.00 am–9.00 am; in front of Public Bank, Prima Square – 9.00 am–11.00 am; In front of Bandar Pasaraya Supermarket – 11.00 am–1.00 pm; back alley of Mei Mei Restaurant, Bandar Indah – 1.00 pm–3.00 pm; beside Xiang Xiang Tea House 2, Bandar Kim Fung – 3.00 pm –5.00 pm.
Liau highlighted that the Dragon Boat Festival is not only an important traditional Chinese celebration but also a meaningful occasion to express care and foster community harmony. She hopes that by distributing festive dumplings, she can share the joy of the season and strengthen bonds within the community.
