KUDAT: The people are reminded not to choose parties that have failed to govern this state, said Chief Minister and GRS Chairman Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
He said that instead, the people should choose the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government, which has shown good performance and the ability to govern Sabah over the past five years.
“We are not making empty talk like the opposition, who like to spread slander and various kinds of rhetoric but are actually empty,” he said at the Kempen Rumah Kita, Kita Jaga GRS event for the Banggi and Tanjong Kapor state seats at Dataran Tomborungus here.
Also present were the GRS Banggi candidate Datuk Mohammad Mohamarin and Tanjong Kapor candidate Datuk Chong Chen Bin.
Hajiji urged the people to vote for the GRS candidates in those areas as their representatives in this election.
“I am impressed with these two leaders because they each have their own vision to develop their respective areas, especially in education and infrastructure development,” he said.
“Therefore, if all these plans, including the industrial park, can be implemented in Kudat, surely the people of this district will benefit. It will certainly provide job opportunities for the residents of this district,” he said.
“GRS is facing this election with full confidence, and this confidence is based on our success in developing the economy and the wellbeing of the people over the past five years.
“I hope Matunggong voters do not choose wrongly, but choose the GRS candidate, Datuk Julita Mojungki.
“In Matunggong there are many candidates contesting, but Datuk Julita’s record as a representative and assistant minister shows that she has carried out her duties well and brought development to Matunggong,” he said.
Hajiji also visited PDM Bongon, Pekan Lama, in Kota Marudu.
