Zaini ready to resolve Sungai Manila water, power issues if elected

SANDAKAN: Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for N.51 Sungai Manila, Zaini Tiksun, is continuing his campaign by meeting with the people face-to-face to hear firsthand the grievances and issues in the State Constituency.
During his visit to Kampung Sungai Daling, Zaini was briefed on a persistent water supply issue that has lasted for over four years under the GRS State Government, severely affecting the daily lives of residents.
He stated that the unreliable electricity supply is also a major complaint, with frequent and prolonged power disruptions occurring both day and night.
“I will strive to resolve these problems if given the mandate by the people on November 29. God willing, with the support of the Sungai Manila people, I will bring their voices to the government’s attention if BN is given the mandate to govern Sabah again,” he said.
Meanwhile, a village resident, Japaruddin Nurudin, said that only a candidate who is a native son of Sungai Manila can truly understand the problems of the local people.
“BN has a proven track record of delivering various development projects, including here in Kampung Sungai Daling.
“The people should consider this record and choose the BN candidate to ensure the continuity of development and welfare,” he said.
Japaruddin also reminded the people not to be easily swayed by the sweet promises of candidates who only appear once every five years.
“Vote for the BN candidate, who is a native son, experienced, and has a better understanding of our problems,” he said. – James Leong
