BN the best choice to realise sustainable development in Karamunting

SANDAKAN: Barisan Nasional (BN) is committed to implementing sustainable development in Karamunting through a comprehensive approach that prioritises resolving basic infrastructure issues before executing long-term development agendas.
BN candidate for the Karamunting state seat, Dato’ Chin Kim Hiung, stated that he will form a special task force to address three critical issues – water supply, electricity, and roads – if given a mandate by the voters.
“We need to solve fundamental problems like water, electricity, and roads first before implementing long-term development plans for Karamunting,” he said during a recent event here.
Chin, a native of the area, emphasized that this phased approach is crucial to ensure the development carried out is sustainable and provides long-term benefits to the residents.
He outlined three core development pillars for Karamunting:
First, developing tourism in Pasir Putih by upgrading the coastline, creating a jetty, and establishing recreational hubs capable of attracting more tourists.
Second, fostering the growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through consulting services and entrepreneurship training to cultivate more local entrepreneurs.
Third, implementing a comprehensive youth development programme encompassing the construction of sports facilities, the establishment of a one-stop counter for youth entrepreneurial assistance, as well as skills and digital training.
Chin stressed that BN has a proven track record in implementing sustainable development through strong leadership and consistent policy approaches.
“BN’s leadership guarantees continuity in the implementation of policies and development programmes for this area,” he said.
He reminded voters that their vote is not merely about choosing a people’s representative, but about determining the direction of Karamunting’s development for future generations.
Chin concluded by urging Karamunting voters to give BN the opportunity to bring more positive transformation to the area. – James Leong
