SANDAKAN: The groundbreaking ceremony for the IJM Rimbayu Indah Roundabout along Jalan Lintas Sibuga was officiated by Walter Kenson, President of the Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS), on Friday.
Also in attendance were Datuk Tony Ling Thou Lung, chief executive officer of IJM Land Berhad; Datuk Chai Kian Soon, chief operating officer of IJM Land Berhad; and Soh Wai Fong, senior general manager of IJM Land Berhad.
The construction of the roundabout is a key initiative aimed at connecting the main route from IJM Bandar Utama to IJM Rimbayu Indah. The project is expected to improve transportation network efficiency and enhance accessibility within the surrounding development area.
Walter welcomed the infrastructure development, noting that it aligns with efforts toward more systematic, sustainable, and competitive urban planning. – James Leong
