Break-in reported at Sandakan Central Market stall

SANDAKAN: A break-in involving a clothes stall at the Sandakan Central Market in town was reported on Monday.
Sandakan Member of Parliament, Vivian Wong Shir Yee, together with her aide Tang Szu Ching and the parliamentary service team, immediately went to the scene upon receiving the information.
Police investigation officers were also present at the location to conduct further inquiries.
Vivian expressed hope that those responsible for the criminal act would be quickly identified and arrested.
At the same time, she urged the Sandakan Municipal Council (MPS) to enhance security measures, including providing night-time security patrols and repairing all damaged doors.
As a short-term measure, her team also helped repair a damaged cabinet at the market stall during the site visit. – James Leong
