Hisense joins RTM to celebrate FIFA World Cup opening match

KUALA LUMPUR: Hisense Malaysia has joined Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) to celebrate the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening match at a viewing party.
The event, hosted at the RTM Headquarters in Angkasapuri, was attended by more than 300 football fans, business partners and special guests.
Football is more than just a game in Malaysia, as it unites people from diverse backgrounds. The Angkasapuri venue was transformed into an atmosphere resembling a live stadium.
Hisense enhanced the viewing experience with a special experiential display area featuring its latest smart home appliances, including the flagship 116UX, the world’s first RGB MiniLED TV.
The 116-inch television delivered a clear, bright picture with true-to-life colours, offering an immersive viewing experience for families.
Hisense also introduced the new U8 smart air conditioner, featuring “Smart Eye” technology that automatically adjusts airflow direction and fan speed to maintain comfort during intense match moments.
The company further showcased its 3-drum washing machine with an innovative extra small drum design, as well as the RQ600 transparent window four-door refrigerator, designed to retain cold air and improve energy efficiency.
