KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor witnessed the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) ceremony involving assistant ministers and political secretaries at Menara Kinabalu.
The two groups recited the IBR to mark their commitment to strengthening integrity and accountable governance in the state administration.
This was followed by the signing of pledges by Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai and Chief Political Secretary to the Chief Minister Azrul Ibrahim, representing the two groups respectively.
The IBR documents were handed over to Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Sabah branch director Datuk Mohd Fuad Bee Basrah.
Fuad, who witnessed the ceremony, delivered a special briefing on anti-corruption prevention efforts and the strengthening of an integrity culture within the public service.
Also present were Director of the Cabinet and Policy Division, Chief Minister’s Department Dayang Noorashikhin Zulkefli, and Chief Minister’s Integrity Advisor, Chief Senior Assistant Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Awang Samsul Baharam Bungso. – Wu Vuide
