SANDAKAN: Demonstrating care for the wellbeing of senior citizens in the community, Tanjong Papat State Assemblyman cum Sabah Development Berhad chairman, Datuk Frankie Poon Ming Fung, visited an elderly woman suffering mobility issues.
Poon together with his secretary Liau Fui Fui, presented the formula milk essential for aunty Lau’s health recovery, aiming to support her nutritional needs and overall wellbeing. According to her family, her worsening leg problem has significantly impacted her movements.
It is hoped that the assistance provided will contribute to improving her health and offer some relief to Lau and her family members.
“As elected representatives, we are deeply concerned about the welfare of our senior citizens who need attention and support. Visits like this are part of our ongoing efforts to care for vulnerable groups in Tanjong Papat constituency,” Poon said.
Meanwhile, Liau who is also Jetama Water Sdn Bhd chairman hoped the small contribution would aid the elderly aunty Lau in her recovery process, adding that, they remained committed to helping those in need within the community.
The visit reflects the continued commitment of Poon and Liau in ensuring that no elderly individuals are left behind or overlooked in receiving the care and support they deserve. – James Leong
