SANDAKAN: Responding to the infrastructure needs in Kampung Sim Sim, Tanjong Papat Assemblyman Datuk Frankie Poon Ming Fung has donated materials for bridge repair to ensure the safety and convenience of local residents.
The handover ceremony of the materials was held recently in Kampung Sim Sim. Also present were Poon’s secretary cum Jetama Water Sdn Bhd chairman Liau Fui Fui, along with community leaders and village representatives.
“We are always attentive to the condition of infrastructure in this water village. The wooden bridges, which serve as the main pathways for residents, require regular maintenance to ensure their safety. Through this contribution, we hope the repair works can be carried out promptly for the benefit of the entire Kampung Sim Sim community,” Poon who is also Sabah Development Berhad chairman said.
This contribution is part of Poon’s ongoing efforts to ensure smooth infrastructure development in Tanjong Papat constituency, in the interest of the local community. – James Leong
