KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor led a corruption-free pledge ceremony involving State Cabinet members at Menara Kinabalu.
Hajiji and Cabinet members signed and recited the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) document, witnessed by Director Datuk Mohd Fuad Bee Basrah of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Sabah.
Fuad said the implementation of the IBR programme with the State Cabinet reflects a strong commitment by the State Government to strengthen integrity and good governance.
He said the initiative will be expanded to ministries and agencies to ensure anti-corruption efforts are implemented comprehensively.
“The implementation of this programme demonstrates the seriousness of planned initiatives to prevent corruption, abuse of power and financial leakages more effectively,” he said.
Fuad also expressed hope that more ministries, departments and government agencies, including government-linked companies (GLCs) and the private sector, will participate in the IBR programme.

Hajiji presents the IBR document to Fuad as Cabinet members look on.
