KOTA KINABALU: Deputy Chief Minister II and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun emphasized the importance of good governance and prudent financial management.
This is to ensure that corporation remains relevant and continues to make a positive impact on Sabah, he said during a courtesy call by newly appointed Sabah Credit Corporation (SCC) chief executive officer Charles Peter Mojuntin, and his delegation at his office.
Masidi called on SCC to consistently uphold integrity, transparency and efficiency in its management, while ensuring that every financing initiative genuinely benefits its target groups.
He expressed hope that the corporation would continue to play an important role as a catalyst for the state’s socio-economic development through the implementation of inclusive and sustainable financing programmes.
During the meeting, Masidi was briefed on SCC’s latest developments, including its financial performance, financing initiatives and strategic plans in supporting the state’s economic development. – Wu Vuide
