KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor presented the appointment letter to new State Secretary Datuk Zainudin Aman yesterday
The State Public Service Department Director General will officially take over from Datuk Seri Safar Untong on June 29.
He hoped that Zainudin’s appointment would see the state civil service remain progressive and competitive in driving the state’s administrative transformation toward sustained progress and excellence.
“This will also ensure that government policies are implemented effectively for the prosperity of the people and the state,” he said.
Safar who retires on June 28 has been appointed as chairman of the Tanjung Aru Eco Development Sdn Bhd, a Sabah government’s GLC.
Meanwhile, Deputy State Secretary (administration) Datuk Norlijah Danin will replace Zainudin as State Public Service Director General. – Wu Vuide
