SEMPORNA: District Police Chief, Superintendent Tan Hiap Wah, together with senior officers and personnel of the District Police Headquarters (IPD), visited frontline personnel on duty during Ramadan in conjunction with the ‘Singgah Sahur’ Programme.
The programme, which took place on March 17 from 1.00 am to 3.00 am began at the Semporna IPD before continuing to town in front of Maybank.
During the visit, food and beverage packages were distributed to personnel from the various units on duty. Tan also advised his personnel to always maintain their integrity and prioritise safety while carrying out their duties.
This programme was aimed to provide moral support and appreciate the commitment of personnel who continue to serve, ensuring the safety and well-being of the community throughout the holy month of Ramadan. – James Leong
