SANDAKAN: The 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG) of SK St Mary Town held recently was officiated by school principal, Tan Boon Yew.
In his opening speech, Tan expressed appreciation to the PIBG Chairman, teachers, and parents for their attendance and support. He also highlighted key activities organized by the school and PIBG in the previous session.
The meeting saw the unanimous election of the new 2025/2026 PIBG Committee, comprising Chairman Baharudin Ladoding; Vice Chairman Rusminah Lanaha; Secretary Badrah Baharudin and Treasurer Anny Ahmad.
Four additional committee members were appointed from the teaching staff, along with four parent representatives.
The AGM concluded at 10:40 AM, marking a smooth transition of leadership for the upcoming academic year. – James Leong
