St. Cecilia’s Alumnae Association to hold blood donation drive on Nov 23

SANDAKAN: Answering the critical need for blood supplies in Duchess of Kent Hospital, St. Cecilia’s Alumnae Association is organising a blood donation campaign this Sunday, Nov 23.
The association welcomes all eligible donors to participate at Sejati Walk from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm, offering a convenient opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.
“Every blood donation represents a potential second chance at life for someone in our community,” Alumnae President Lily Aw stated.
“We are reaching out to the compassion and generosity of local folks to join us in this crucial initiative. Your participation not only saves lives but also strengthens our community bonds, reflecting the spirit of service that defines our association’s mission,” she added.
In appreciation of donors’ life-saving contributions, each successful participant will receive a complimentary goodie bag containing essential household items, generously supplied by local business sponsors.
The Association acknowledges with deep gratitude the support from all sponsors, with particular recognition for Prolific Quality Sdn Bhd’s substantial contribution of 120 packs of eggs, organising chairperson Jennifer Chung said.
“The remarkable generosity of our sponsors enables us to properly thank those who give the precious gift of blood,” she added.
