A delegation of 10 engineers from The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (Sabah Branch) had recently made a courtesy call on YAB Datuk Seri Panglima Hj. Hajiji Mohd Noor, The Sabah State Chief Minister. The delegation was led by its Branch Chairman, Ir. Willy Chin.
Besides well-wishing the CM of his leadership, IEM brought up the positive outlook of the Sabah state with the reopening of its economy. As the state transitioned from its Covid-19 pandemic to endemic status, IEM cited its preparedness to assist the government to rebuild the state and make Sabah’s economy vibrant.
IEM is glad that the CM is visionary with his “Sabah Maju Jaya” direction and receptive towards gathering all assistance to join the government and progress together. The courtesy call ended with IEM extending an invitation to the Sabah Chief Minister to attend as the Guest of Honour of its Gala Dinner in August 2022.
