TENOM: Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Industry, Datuk Jamawi Jaafar, reached out to the people of the Melalap State Constituency (DUN) in conjunction with the Christmas celebration on December 25 here.
Accompanied by his wife, Datin Zainatunnisa Ibrahim, he visited several residences, including the home of the District Chief, OKK Tusib Tulas, together with several other local leaders.
Speaking to the media, Jamawi said that the practice of visiting one another during festive seasons should be continued as it helps strengthen the spirit of unity among the multi-ethnic communities in the state.
Meanwhile, he also invited all residents of the Melalap DUN to attend the Melalap DUN Christmas Open House, which will be held on December 28 starting at 11.30am at Dewan Datuk Sanggau Jalang. – Wu Vuide
