SANDAKAN: Police are looking for two men to assist investigations into two desertion cases under Section 86(1) of the Police Act 1967.
“Members of the public with information on their whereabouts are urged to come forward and channel the information to the police to facilitate the investigation,” Sandakan OCPD ACP George Abd Rakman disclosed on Friday.
The first individual has been identified as Asmi Anak Belong, 33. His last known address is at Rumah Junis, Jalan Stok, Sarikei, Sarawak. The case is registered under reference number Sandakan/019289/24.
The second individual is Terry Oswald Lim Kuo Wei, 39. His last known address is at Kampung Kepayan, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, with case reference number Sandakan/019864/25.
“Both individuals are being sought to assist in an investigation under Section 86(1) of the Police Act 1967, which pertains to desertion,” George said.

Information can also be channelled directly to the Investigating Officers: Inspector Muhammad Faizzuddin Dahlan at 012-5390281 (for Asmi’s case) or Inspector Che Ahmad Nazrullah Latiff at 014-5916717 (for Terry Oswald Lim’s case).
