Car workshop destroyed in Sandakan fire, no casualties reported

SANDAKAN: A car repair workshop was completely destroyed in a fire incident at Kampung Sandala, Batu 13, on Sunday.The Sandakan Fire and Rescue station deployed 12 personnel to the location upon receiving a distress call at 3.24pm. The team arrived within 25 minutes despite the incident site being 19km from the fire station.Firemen used one hose reel line with water supply from the fire engine.
